NISRA Custody – Meet Ollie (AKA Olaf)
OLLIE IS IN FOSTER-TO-ADOPT CARE NOW. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR WILLINGNESS TO HELP THIS SWEET BOY AND WE WILL UPDATE THIS POST IF ANYTHING ABOUT HIS STATUS CHANGES. ALSO LOOK FOR UPDATES ON THE FACEBOOK PAGE: https://www.facebook.com/ldrescue/
Ollie is a very sweet dog, probably an Icelandic Sheepdog, who was found on Craigs List by a very kind hearted woman in Rhode Island. She suspects that he may have been in multiple homes after being found on the street. He is now in NISRA custody. He bonds readily to people, and gets along well with cats and dogs. He appears to be housebroken, knows the sit command, and can be calm in the house. We have only had him for a brief period of time, so there is much more to learn about him. He apparently likes to collect shoes and place them on the sofa. We think he may be 8-9 months old and is intact. No vaccination history is known. He did have a microchip, but it did not trace to anyone. NISRA is looking for a foster home or permanent loving home for him. He is currently in Lexington, MA. If you can help us foster or are interested in adopting, please complete the volunteer form on our website.
Please help us give this adorable dog a new loving home. Icelandic Sheepdogs often live to 14-17 years. If you have questions and would like to discuss fostering or adoption you can contact us before filling out the volunteer form.
