NISRA Volunteer Release

GENERAL RELEASE AND AGREEMENT TO INDEMNIFY

In consideration of my participation as a volunteer and/or foster caregiver, I hereby enter into this General Release and Agreement to Indemnify in favor of the National Icelandic Sheepdog Rescue Alliance, an all-volunteer 501c3 nonprofit organization that consists of a Board of Directors and volunteers when needed in the United States and Canada.

(collectively referred to herein as “NISRA”).

I understand and acknowledge that my participation is not without risk of injury and I hereby release NISRA, its volunteers, board, directors, and representatives from any and all damages and injuries that I may sustain as a result of my participation, including, without limitation, claims for personal injury, partial or permanent disability, property damage, medical and hospital bills, economic losses, and any injury or damage resulting from the actions of any animal or person, and I expressly assume all risk of such damage or injury while I am participating in the activity as set forth above.

I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless NISRA, its volunteers, board, directors, and representatives from any and all claims, including any claims for personal injury or property damage, made by any person as a result of an act or omission on the part of myself during my participation in the activity.

I hereby agree not to sue or commence any action against NISRA, its volunteers, board, directors, and representatives with respect to the claims, damages and losses hereby released and waived.

I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING MY RIGHT TO SUE.
